An Animal Health Camp was organized by the MVU, Angul, at Hariharpur village under Talcher Range to strengthen disease surveillance and minimize the risk of disease transmission between livestock and wildlife. The camp featured routine health check-ups, preventive vaccinations, and awareness programmes for local livestock owners.
Such proactive interventions play a vital role in protecting animal health, reducing disease risks at the livestock–wildlife interface, and supporting a healthy, balanced, and sustainable ecosystem. These efforts contribute significantly to fostering harmonious coexistence between communities, livestock, and wildlife.
